GCC Music Team Mission Statement

We are a team of lead worshipers, united by Christ and led by his Holy Spirit.  We seek to create an environment free from distractions that facilitates active participation in worship through practical and spiritual preparation.

Our mission at Garden City Church is to glorify God.  One of the ways we do this is by participating in Christ-centered worship through music.  We want to be a church filled with the type of worshipers that our Father is seeking, those who worship with an accurate view of who God is and are filled with his Holy Spirit.  Our musical worship blends contemporary and traditional songs and styles, is informed by scripture and is inspired by the Holy Spirit.

John 4:23-24
"23Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."
