WOP2018 Day 5Every year the Assemblies of God (the fellowship of churches we belong to) sets aside the first full week of January for prayer. So every year we encourage our congregation to pray together as well. Each day this week there will be a new "article" touching on the theme verse for this week as well as some ways that you can pray for yourself, your family, your community, your church and even your world. If you would like to see previous posts, friend us on Facebook and request to join our prayer page. Here's day five. Enjoy!

Prayer Focus: As we humble ourselves, pray and seek God's face, and turn from our wicked ways, God promises to hear our cries. He does not turn a deaf ear to those who sincerely seek Him in humility and righteousness; rather He bends low to listen, to hear our pleas and petitions.

Pray for increased faith to respond to God who invites you to come boldly to be with Him and enjoys spending time with you.

Pray for your church to have confidence to appeal to heaven and help you to touch your community like never before.

Rejoice that God is faithful to hear your prayers as you seek Him with humility and righteousness.

Resolutions Small WebHappy New Year!  We hope your year is off to a great start Each year we are given an opportunity to start over. For many this is a time to rethink all that happened the previous year and make plans for the new one. New commitments - i.e. resolutions - are made with the hope that this year will be better than the last and that our lives will change for the better.  As a result, we started a new series called Resolutions:  Getting Back To The Basics. In this series we are looking at things that have the potential to transform our lives and cause us flourish as individuals as well as a church. We hope to see you this Sunday at 9:15 AM!

Wednesday Night Prayer Small WebPlease join us on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary for an evening or prayer. Each week we focus on praying together for the needs of our church, community and our world. We also spend a few minutes looking into God's Word to learn more about prayer and its power. We believe that prayer is the key to experiencing God's power as well as his supernatural love and grace. So if you are looking to experience more of God in your life, join us on Wednesday nights @ 7:00 p.m. (Please Note:  park either on the side of the church building near the package store and use the main entrance or in back closest to the back entry. Thanks!)
