Nathan and Jessica are called by God to reach this generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For Nathan, it all began at the age of seventeen when his life was revolutionized by God and he heard the call to drop all of his plans and preach the Gospel.

Nathan had been attending The Governor's School for the Arts and was heavily involved in the local music scene in Virginia Beach. Then, he went away to study the Word of God at Zion Bible College.

From there he joined the staff at Lighthouse World Prayer Center (now Innovation Church) full time as Worship Leader and Missions Director. In his seven years on staff, he wrote and recorded six full length albums, received a License to preach with the Assemblies of God, founded and became pastor of Mission Young Adult Church, established a thriving youth ministry, built and maintained a music department, and most importantly met and married his beautiful wife, Jessica.

Jessica is his ministry partner, called of God, a gifted worship leader, children's director and teacher. She attended Valley Forge Christian College and has been involved in two church plants. She is a key leader in the Clarity Church Plant. On August 4, 2009, their baby girl, November Loren ("Novi" for short) was added to the Clarity Team. Nathan and Jessica have felt for some time that they would someday plant a missional church in the heart of an arts community, and through numerous open doors and opportunities, God has led them to Santa Monica, one of the biggest arts communities of West LA. Nathan, Jessica, Novi, and a team of nine others, packed up everything and moved from Pennsylvania to California in January of 2010. God has continued to open doors and provide for them during this transition time, including housing, jobs, and even food. The Clarity Team is in the process of meeting new people, sharing Christ, joining community groups, serving, casting vision, growing as a team, and developing a large relational network. For six months, they have gathered for monthly events and for weekly small groups. The official Clarity launch is set for 10.10.10 at a magic theater in Santa Monica called Magicopolis. They are excited to see what God is going to do through their obedience to His call and the impact it will have in their community, city, and ultimately their world.
